(C) CCAAT/enhancer-binding proteins (C/EBPα), adipocyte binding protein (aP2), and peroxisome proliferation-activated receptor (PPARγ) protein expression, as detected by Western blotting. Proteins were isolated using radioimmunoprecipitation assay buffer containing protease and phosphatase inhibitor cocktail. β-actin was used as a loading control. Band intensity was calculated using ImageJ software (data not shown). The results are representative of at least three independent experiments. Values are presented as mean± standard deviation and are significantly different from the WEAA-untreated positive controls, *P < 0.05; P < 0.01; P < 0.001.
